Privacy
This page explains which personal data Ember Studios processes, why, who helps us, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
Who we are

What we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, email address and, if you enter it, your company name.
- Order details: what you bought, the price and the payment status. Card details are entered on Stripe's payment page and never reach our servers.
- Project information: your questionnaire answers, the files you upload, your feedback, messages and approvals.
- Messages you send through the contact form.
- Support chat: the messages you send to Emby, our chat assistant, and the email address you give if you ask for a person. The assistant runs on our own server; chats are not sent to outside AI services.
- Security data: a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, used to limit abuse and prevent fraud, and the times you opened your project.
We only ask for what we need to deliver your website. Fields marked optional can be left empty.
Why we use it
- To deliver the website you ordered and keep you informed about it (performance of our contract with you).
- To answer your questions (our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps you ask for before ordering).
- To keep invoices and order records, which the law requires (legal obligation).
- To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
We don't sell your data, don't use it for advertising and don't send marketing emails.
Who helps us
These providers process data on our behalf, only for the purposes above:
- Stripe handles payments, invoices and receipts.
- Resend sends our emails, such as order confirmations and project updates.
- Spaceship hosts our server and our email inbox. Our server is located in the United States, so your data is processed outside the European Economic Area. We use providers that offer the legal safeguards required for this, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
No other third-party services, trackers or advertising tools load on this website.
How long we keep it
- Project files, messages and questionnaire answers: for as long as your project runs, and afterwards so you can download your website again, until you ask us to delete them.
- Invoices and order records: as long as tax law requires.
- Contact form messages and support chats: as long as needed to help you.
- Security records: for a limited period.
Cookies
We only use cookies the website needs to work, plus one optional cookie that remembers a referral code if you agree. See the cookie policy for the full list.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. You must be 18 or older to order. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, limit how we use it, or object to how we use it.
- Delete your data: use the data request form or email info@emberstudio.cc. We confirm the request with you by email and delete your project data within 30 days. Records we must keep by law, such as invoices, are kept until that period ends.
- You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

If we change this page, we update the date below.
